It requires special knowledge to open. The doorway leads to the stairs going to the front door and the new play room. The doorway is blocked by this baby gate. 7/17/2023- the gate was removed. 7/13/23- the plastic knob cover was removed immediately from the door knob. 4c) the indoor window sill used as an emergency exit is higher than 44 inches from the ground without a platform.
