Soaps and cleansers stored under the sink, are observed accessible to children as the cabinet safety lock was observed broken and not latching to close. The provider immediately corrected the violation during the onsite visit by moving the cleansers to upstairs to unlicensed space making the cleansers/soaps inaccessible to children.

Blind cords have loops and are accessible to children. Cords accessible to children that can be wrapped around their necks posing a safety hazard. Poking nail out of the wall. Water temped above 120 degrees.

One doorknob does not automatically unlock when the handle is turned. A dead bolt is present and needs to be turned to unlock the door.

Provider does not have a play yard in her apartment. A general play area in a court yard was viewed as the provider would like to use that area. The provider was asked to supply pictures of the yard and paperwork from the manufacture for the climbing structures and ground cover. Provider has been asked to come up with activities for infant and toddlers if the play equipment is not age suitable for them.
