However, the child's meds were returned to the parent because they were expired and none had been brought back into the center. When the director, D. checked with staff they stated the parent informed the staff that the child no longer had asthma. Director, staff and parent was informed during the visit that a note is required from the doctor stating the child no longer has asthma. The parent came to pick up the child while the licensor was conducting the monitor visit and the director informed her of the letter requirement. If child is still diagnosed to have asthma the site will need to obtain updated paperwork and medication.”
