Need 3 step spray bottles for the classroom shelving units, tables etc. is located in main space for eating and other activities. Area rugs were observed to need cleaning they were stained.

There was no soap in the restroom for handwashing. There was no paper towels in the restroom for the children when the licensor returned to the home for observations on 8/21/2024. There were 4 children present. Children played outside for a short while then came inside but but then went back outside During their transition from inside to outside and outside again there was no handwashing in between the transitions from outside to inside play.

Secure the cubbies by the kitchen. Outlet in the restroom is GFCI but does not appear to be tamper resistant. Provider showed the licensor the blank cover that she plans to have her maintenance person who was present later during the inspection to install it into the restroom on 8/12/2024. The kitchen was not licensed space and has gates up on both ends. However, the gates were open during the last visit and children were observed going into the kitchen freely so the licensor inspected the space so that it can be included as licensed space but was not measured or additional square footage because it will not be used as such. The space is only used to allow children to go get items like paper towels when needed. The kitchen was inspected for health and safety and within the kitchen there is a washer and dryer in the closet and the closet was not latched nor the washer and dryer. This was discussed that either the closet can have a latch or the washer and dryer will need one. There is also a outlet by the stove in the kitchen that was observed to not be tamper resistant.

F.S. does not have a current CPR/First Aid card. First Aid kit box only had bandaids and thermometer. There was no other supplies found. Other first aid kits were not located during inspection.

F.S did not have documentation on file of BBP. Below is the link for class to be completed. https://wisha-training.lni.wa.gov/Training/articulate/BBPathogens/story.html F.S attempted to contact a company to schedule her CPR/First Aid when the licensor was at the family home completing the inspection but the company no longer does individual training. Licensor informed F.S. she cannot be in charge of a group of children alone since she is not currently trained in CPR/First Aid.

Need to cut grass and weeds (vegetation). There is also a collection on growth on the side of the stairs by the window. This was observed during the 1st visit but was not cited because children were not present. During the visit on 8/21/2024 the licensor observed the grass to still not be cut and the vegetation by the window to have expanded.

During the visit with children present on 8/21/2024 children had access to the cleaning products (3 step spray bottles) in the restroom and the kitchen. The kitchen is gated off but the gate was left open on both sides of the kitchen and the children present were observed going into the kitchen The licensor discussed with provider that since the children go into the the kitchen it will be counted as licensed space but will not be measured. The children's materials are observed outside of the kitchen. The children were observed going into the kitchen to access paper towels to clean up spilled paint. The kitchen has spray bottles (3 step) on the counter that are accessible to the children. The cabinets in the kitchen and the restroom have latches but several of the latches are broken and require repair.
