Duty to protect children and report incidents · WAC 110-300-0475(2) · Serious
During the course of the complaint assessment, Licensor Champney reviewed all relevant information and determined that there was sufficient evidence to conclude that a licensing violation occurred. Information was gathered through interviews with Mr. Hassan and his daughter, Sabrin, as well as a review of the incident circumstances. The licensor determined that neither Mr. Hassan nor his daughter, Assistant Teacher Sabrin, were aware of the injuries the child had sustained at the time and reported that they believed the injuries were the result of an allergic reaction or rash, although they were unsure of the cause. It was later determined by a medical professional that the injuries were consistent with bite marks. Date Disputed Date Disputed
