The laundry room is accessible to children as there is not a door or gate preventing access. A child was observed to enter the laundry room alone. Inside the laundry room is a dryer that is not secured. The placement of the washer and utility sink create an opening which poses an entrapment risk. Written permission from parents is not on file for provider to sleep when children are sleeping. Alerts are not available to sound if a child tries to leave a room where they are sleeping. An audio monitor system is available, but not visual at this time. Provider does have a visual monitoring system that she will reinstall. Currently 1 child attends overnight care 1 day a week.
