Guidepost Montessori At Old Town

What the state has found

State record — Illinois DCFS

Illinois DCFS has published no inspection report for this provider as of October 2026. That is not the same as a clean record — there is nothing on file either way.

Openings, child care subsidies, cost, hours and late pickup, ratios and staff, and sick and biting policies aren’t on this page.

How they teach

Bilingual

“In our Spanish Immersion program, the prevailing language spoken throughout the day is Spanish. Students learn both Spanish and English literacy skills, however, the overall emphasis on Spanish rapidly increases fluency, as children feel naturally compelled to communicate with their Spanish-speaking guides.”

Guidepost says its schools are run by Guidepost Global Education, a new, independent company formed in spring 2025, before the former operator, Higher Ground Education, filed for bankruptcy, and that none of its schools were part of that Chapter 11 case. On October 28, 2025, Guidepost said 83 schools remained open. It says the company has its own owners but does not name them. guidepostmontessori.com
