An aide who is participating in on-the-job training may be substituted for a teacher when directly supervised by a fully qualified teacher. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: A staff (S-3) who is missing .5 quarter unit related to infant care was left supervising a child who is under 2 years old in Room 1 (toddler option room). This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, and personal rights, to children in care.
