ALLEGATION(S): Licensee did not provide a safe environment resulting in a child sustaining a fracture while in care Licensee did not obtain medical attention for an injured child in a timely manner INVESTIGATION FINDINGS: On 03/20/2026 at 9:00am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) C.U. conducted an unannounced Complaint Investigation Visit for the above allegation of a personal rights violation. LPA met with licensee, Jennifer Bareno. Also present at the time of today's visit is 4 fingerprint cleared assistants/residents of the home and 5 day care children. Licensee's adult son assisted with translation services. This agency has investigated the complaint allegation that the licensee did not provide a safe environment resulting in a child sustaining a fracture while in care. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. Notice of Site Visit was given and must be posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Jennifer Bareno.
