746.3301(i) - Nutrition and Food Service - Must not serve identified foods to allergic child · Medium High

During the investigation, CCR discovered that on 9/10/25, a child in care, with a known nut allergy, was served a muffin containing almond four, that resulted in the child becoming sick.

Based on evidence obtained during the investigation, good judgment was not being used by a caregiver when a bottle was not checked before being given to a child. This was corrected immediately after the incident when caregivers received write ups, and retraining was provided for all infant staff.
